Oh Sandy ...

Some beautiful land art at Gwithian beach in Cornwall near where my mother lives. It's by Cornish artist Chris Howarth who creates it with nothing more than a modified rake. And, of course, like much land art it is ephemeral. Once the tide comes in, it's gone.

It's a considerable improvement on the art that I saw on the same beach back in 1999 when I was waiting to watch a total eclipse of the Sun on my birthday ...
