I found some curious evidence of a now vanished building while out walking yesterday. Curious because there has never been, to my knowledge, any form of building anywhere near where I was.
Meanwhile, a cold snap has settled over the UK bringing heavy frosts and even snow in some places. But not here. On the Chiltern Hills the skies are gloriously blue and the sun is shining.
Today's walk was cold, crisp and delicious. And the perfect day to muck about with long shadows.
