Red cherry galls and an abundance of sorrel

Another of my miscellaneous meanders across Widmer Fields. It's 42 acres of meadows and wooded walks inside the Chiltern Hills Area of Outstanding Natutral Beauty that is owned by the community. It's also been designated as a village green - the largest in Britain I believe - and can't be developed as the result. I walk here with my dog most days and consider myself very lucky to have this on my doorstep. Well, five minutes walk from my doorstep anyway.
