Today's curio is a Pointless Box.
I can't actually remember where I got this. I might have bought it online. I might have been given it as a pressie. I genuinely can't remember. I feel a bit guilty about that. I suspect I bought it during my QI days as a possible prop for the show. If so, we never used it.
It lives up to its name. You flick the single switch and it operates a mechanism that has the sole function of turning the same switch off. That's it. Joyously, ridiculously pointless.
I guess it could be used to store some small items - the batteries and mechanism don't take up much space.
