Vlog - Belfast (Part 2)

Today I took a ride in a Paddy Wagon.

No I wasn't arrested. And I'm not being racist. It's the name of the company.

The day didn't start well when a 'tech issue' meant that the coach was an hour late to pick us up. But eventually we were on our way.

First stop was The Dark Hedges.

The TV show Game of Thrones was massive. and, as much of it was filmed in Northern Ireland, the tourism industry has seriously cashed in on the association. The Dark Hedges is a country lane of beautiful gnarly Beech trees that appeared as the avenue to Kings Landing. Some of the carved tree graffiti was fun to read.

Next, we moved on to Dunluce Castle - home of House of Greyjoy in the TV series - and a walk around the 16th century ruins.

Our coach broke down before the next stop. So another coach ferried us to our destination. However, because it wasn't going to be the same coach we'd be travelling back on, we had to take all of our belongings with us. Which is why I got to make the 20 minute walk to the Giant's Causeway carrying all my luggage. Yay.

Worth the pain though.

And here's the video:
